About The School
Music is given to us with the sole purpose of establishing an order in things, including, and particularly, the coordination between man and time. --Igor Stravinsky

All Students: One of the first things you must learn is the proper way to practice.

How we teach is not 'our way'.We follow the path that the people who have truly mastered music have done it, The true masters of music have shown us a way that works! So we start there!

When these masters play, It just sounds good. Period. It has nothing to do with Popularity, trends, clothing, etc. It's just right.

Based on this well known fact, We try our best provide organized, structured lessons tailored to fit each individual.

eric clapton
For example...
A 41 year old would be guitarist who wants to play blues like Eric Clapton,
can learn all about the techniques, structure, tone, feel, history, and repertoire required to do it.
If your bag is Classical Music...
You will be taught reading and tone production...
Plus music from Carcassi, Villa-Lobos, Bach, Rodrigo, etc.

If you like Classic Rock then we are able to teach you how to play your favorite
Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Journey, etc.

Country music? Gospel? You can learn it here at ABC.

Teenagers, who want to rock are very happy here.
We have happily turned many teens into skilled young players who are now the envy of all their friends.

By teaching them all of today's Rock while also expanding their musical horizons far beyond what they are getting from MTV and other mass media, many of these teens often emerge as talented, unique and inspired.

Inspired by something good... Music!

Parents:
Roughly 60% of our clientele (all instruments) are kids. For them we offer a safe and friendly environment where they can have fun and learnhow to play music, (while the parent can get a break for an hour)

Parents are welcome to sit in on the lesson if they or the child so desires.
We have a waiting room at each school.

We welcome and encourage parent involvement in the lessons,
especially when it comes to encouraging a practice routine at home.

ABC's teachers are full time professional musicians.
They are quite skilled and educated.
They teach day in and day out and love it.
They all work in great bands and make records.
They are not 'weekend warriors' trying to make an extra buck,
purporting to be real music teachers.

We are sincerely committed to teaching music.
The best way we know how.
